Work Skills is an alternative provision suited to young people who struggle in the classroom, we have students from schools all around Norfolk as well as home educated students in our groups.
Starting in September 2020 our groups have grown and we now offer Work Skills Sessions Monday to Thursday 10:00 – 14:30, students attending groups are learning all aspects of farming life as they get hands on with sheep, pigs and poultry as well as learning about how our organic farm uses traditional farming to work with nature.
We also have a garden where we get involved in horticulture growing organic fruit, vegetables and flowers.
Our Education Programme gives students the opportunity to learn at their own pace, as a mixed age and ability group we don’t expect all our students to achieve the same things at the same rate as others and often find they have a variety of different areas of the farm they prefer working. Everything our students do on the farm is part of the education programme we offer and all students will achieve AQA Award Units while they are with us.
