Farm Tours
At Edfords we are able to offer educational farm tour to schools, this is a tour of our farm with regular stops to talk about the animals we keep on the farm, our dedicated work with rare breeds and our organic farming approach. We cover the essentials of farm to fork processes and have plenty of opportunities to open this for questions and discussions with the students.

During the tour we will walk through our conservation area where we talk about how our farm works alongside nature, the impact of farming on our environment and the reasons why organic farming plays such an important role in the future of farming to reduce the impact we have on our world.

We have space on the farm to run more than one group at any time so your visit will have their own space and access to facilities so they can stay on the farm and have their lunch in a safe space dedicated to them.

While here on a tour your group will have access to their own classroom and outdoor space for lunch, further discussions/debates and indoor activities.
​
​Tours of the farm can be arranged as one off tours or multiple visits throughout the school, we can incorporate the elements of the curriculum into our tours if required, just discuss with our group lead in advance and we will make arrangements.
​
For schools working with us throughout the year by sending multiple groups or students to our workskills programme there are also some fully funded tours available on a first come first served basis.
