An Introduction to Edfords
Welcome to Edfords Care Farm, a non-profit organisation situated on an 84 acre site in picturesque Norfolk.
We work with vulnerable people from all walks of life as well as children with special educational needs offering them the opportunity to work with rare breed livestock, grow their own fruit and vegetables and learn new skills all whilst achieving qualifications through evidence based learning giving them an education delivered outside in a calming environment.
Organic Farming
Edfords is an Organic Farm certified with the Soil Association. We have always farmed with nature in mind, from the first plot of less than an acre to where we are now. It felt like the most obvious choice to convert the farm to Organic from the moment we arrived in Mautby and the results are easy to see.
Edfords Farm is teeming with life from beneath the soil upwards. We have always had a passion for traditional farming so developing herbal grassland for our livestock, our hedgerows wildlife and soil which encourages life fits beautifully with Edfords approach to farming for the future.
